Jared Bodammer currently serves as the assistant athletic director for sports communication and marketing. Bodammer oversees all aspects of the charger sports media department and heads the Charger Foundation. He is also a professor in the university's Sports Management program.
He is an active leader within the Great Plains Athletic Conference and has managed statistical crews for a combined 11 years at both the NAIA volleyball and DII women’s basketball national championship tournaments. The 2012-13 academic year marks Bodammer’s 14th year with the Briar Cliff athletic department after taking the helm as the school's sports information director, overseeing the school's 18 varsity sports, in 1998.
He coached the women's soccer program for seven seasons, leading the Chargers to the playoffs five times, and championed some of the most successful seasons in the school’s history. Bodammer, a 1998 Briar Cliff graduate, was a four-year member of the Charger Soccer Program.
|Bodammer is a member of NSCAA, CoSIDA and the Siouxland Soccer Foundation board. He has also served as an assistant girls' soccer coach at Bishop Heelan High School for the past seven years. Bodammer is actively pursuing his Masters in Management degree. He and his wife Jill Bodammer, a Briar Cliff alum, reside in Sioux City, IA, and have twin boys, Tristan and Landon.|
