HS:  Twelve-time letterwinner for the Falcons of Henry Foss High School (four each in judo and wrestling, three in football, and one in soccer)...four year all-state wrestling and state champion in judo for three years...3rd team all-league wide receiver in football, 3rd team all league goalie in soccer...received the coach's award in football as a sophomore...aside from athletics, he was also on the honor roll.
