2009: This is her second year with the Charger volleyball program.

HS: The 5-8 Benjamin was a 10-time varsity letterwinner for the Warriors of Whiting (three each in track and volleyball and two each in basketball and softball). In volleyball, Benjamin earned the team's most improved player award as a freshman, the awesome attitude award as a sophomore and team MVP as a junior. She was an honorable mention all-conference volleyball selection, senior year, after registering 170 kills. In basketball, she was the team's most improved player as a junior and team captain and MVP as a senior. Through her junior year, she had earned 66 track medals. She was second team all-conference in the jump jump and honorable mention in the 4x400m relay, junior year. Aside from athletics, the four-year honor roll member and three-year academic all-conference selection is active in her church, 4-H, band, jazz band, speech and National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Leo and Diane Benjamin of Whiting, Iowa plans to major in biology/pre-physical therapy.
