Qualified for the Nebraska State Track Meet in 2008 in the shot put, placed 2nd at districts with a farthest career throw of 35 ft. 6 in. And also qualified for the state meet in 2009 in the discus. Won high school's districts with farthest high school career throw of 111 ft. 2 in. Other events in high school included 400 meter relay and the 1600 meter relay.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Karen Swisher of Halsey, Nebraska. Major is Pre-Physical Therapy.
