PRE-BCU: Attended and played one year at Marshalltown Community College.

AT BC: In his second year with the Charger program.

As a sophomore he started all 47 games collecting 41 hits, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 3 homeruns, and scored 39 runs. He was second on the team in hits batsmen with 14. He played a valuable role as the captain of the outfield while patrolling centerfield for the Chargers.

HS: Earned 15 varsity letters, five in baseball, four in football, three in basketball, and three in track for the Hawks… First team all district, first team all conference and a member of the All CYO team as a sophomore… First team all district and first team all conference as a junior... First team all district and first team all conference as a senior… was a four year member of the honor roll.
