As a junior he hit .303 with 43 hits, 5 doubles, 3 triples, 2 homeruns, and 14 RBI's, he also led the team in stolen bases with 18... as a sophomore he played in 29 games and was a starter in 27 of them before an injury held him out of action... hit .286 with 22 hits, 14 runs, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 stolen bases, and 12 RBI's in his sophomore season... had an impressive freshman campaign which saw him hit .381, slug .515 with 51 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, one homerun, 29 RBI and a team-high 14 stolen bases as the squad's first-team all-conference designated hitter
HS: Eight-time letterwinner for the Packers of Austin (three each in baseball and hockey, two in football)...captain of baseball, football and hockey teams, senior year...All-Conference in football and Honorable Mention All-Conference in hockey as a senior...All-Conference baseball selection, junior year...Honor Roll member.
