Thomas Patterson of Frostburg, MD has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Briar Cliff for the 2011-2012 season.

Coach Privitere is excited to have the 5-11 recruit sign with the program. "Thomas embodies both the work ethic and skill set that will make him successful at this level. I look forward to working with and seeing him grow in the next 4 years."

Patterson, a 5 time letterwinner earning 4 in wrestling and 1 in football achieved his 100th career win on January 22nd, 2011. Throughout his career at Mountain Ridge High School, Thomas was a 4x T.R. Davis Tournament placer, 2x Bi-Counties placer, 2x Hub Cup Invite placer, as well as a 2x state tournament qualifier.

Away from the mat, Thomas participated in Church Youth Group, Maryland Leadership workshops, Maryland Minds and was on the Honor Roll. Thomas, the son of Walt and Joene Patterson, plans on studying Criminal Justice.
