Audra Young, of McCool Junction, Neb., has signed a letter of intent to run cross country and track at Briar Cliff University next year.

Young was a 12-time letterwinner for the Mustangs of McCool Junction Public High School (four each in basketball, cross country and track).  She is a four-time recipient of the All-Sport Award.  She qualified for state in the 1600m, sophomore year.  She was a two-time cross country team captain.  In basketball, she earned the Mustangs' Best Defender Award as a freshman and sophomore.  As a junior, she led the team in offensive rebounds and collected the squad's Heart Award.  As a senior captain, she earned honorable mention all-area and was selected to the Huskerland prep team and the CRC All-Star game. 

Aside from athletics, the daughter of William and Mary Young is involved with National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, M Club, drama and speech.
