Lawton-Bronson's Josheb Benson has signed a letter of intent to run track and wrestle at Briar Cliff University next year.

Benson was a seven-time letterwinner for the Eagles of Lawton-Bronson (four in track and three in wrestling). He was a two-time state track qualifier in the 4x800m and distance medley. Benson also a two-time district wrestling champion, who qualfied forstate and was named the team's Most Outstanding Wrestler as a junior. He was also a section championon the mat as a junor and conference champion as a senior. As a senior captain, Benson led the Eagle wrestling and track teams to conference titles. He was a two-time Hustle Award recipient.

Aside fromathletic accolades, Benson was named the academic student of the month and the fine arts student of the week. The son of Dennis and Crystal Benson of Sioux City, Iowa also finished first in the school's Presidential Fitnesstesting, senior year.
