Mallory Buck

The Briar Cliff University women's volleyball team is pleased to announce that Mallory Buck, a previous Knight for Elmwood-Murdock High, has signed her letter of intent to attend BCU for the 2008-2009 academic year. Buck is a 5-6, left side hitter, coming from Murdock, Nebraska.

 

Throughout high school Buck was part of the four year conference champion volleyball team and a conference champion basketball team her senior year. Her junior and senior year she received an academic all-state award for volleyball. As a junior Buck was hitting 12 percent on the court and served up 33 aces. As a senior she was hitting 20 percent and had a total of 135 digs. Her senior year she earned an honorable mention for all-conference for volleyball and an all-state honorable mention in basketball.

 

Outside of athletics Buck is a member of the honor roll, Future Business Leaders of America, Family Career Community Leaders of America, Spanish Club, Student Council and the Band Council. She was the Elmwood-Murdock salutatorian and a God Scholar Student.

 

Daughter of Roger and Diane Buck and plans to major in nursing at Briar Cliff University.
