Galva-Holstein High School's Jamee Hunt has signed a letter of intent to compete in track and field at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, next year.
 
Hunt was an 11-time letterwinner for the Pirates of Galva-Holstein (four in track, three in cross country, three as wrestling manager and one in softball).  As a senior, she earned team MVP field honors.
 
Aside from athletics, the honor roll member is active in her church and with the Army Reserve.  The daughter of Mark and Teresa Hunt of Holstein, Iowa, plans to major in mass communications at Briar Cliff.  Her mother also graduated from Briar Cliff.
