Allen's Michael Bock has signed a letter of intent to run track at Briar Cliff University next year.

Bock was a 10-time letterwinner for the Eagles of Allen (four each in football and track and two in basketball).  He was a four-time district and state track qualifier.  His 4x800m relay team won four-straight district titles and won the conference title, junior year.  They finished fifth at state, senior year, first, junior year, second sophomore year amd sixth, freshman year.  Bock won the mile at districts as a junior and senior and the two mile as a junior.    

The son of Robert and Joy Bock of Allen, Nebraska was also involved in FFA, 4-H, one act play production and band.  He is a member of the honor roll and National Honor Society.  His mother played volleyball at Dordt and his sister plays volleyball at Briar Cliff.
