David Thomas

York High's David Thomas has signed a letter of intent to join the Briar Cliff University track and field program, next fall.
Thomas was a track letterwinner for the Dukes of York, competing in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and the 4x400m relay. As a senior, he earned all-state honors from the Lincoln Journal Star. He was also a two-time junior varsity soccer team captain.
Thomas is involved in Art Club, FCA, YAAD, Quiz Bowl and a CCD group. The academic all-conference selection is also an honor roll and National Honor Society member. The son of Mike and Pellie Thomas and Kathleen Yockey plans to major in graphic design at Briar Cliff.
