Facilities
Bishop Mueller Field:  Bishop Mueller Field, which consists of both a baseball and softball field, was dedicated in 1982. Due to his interest in athletics, the field was named after Bishop Mueller. The fields are home to both the Briar Cliff University Chargers and the Heelan High School Crusaders. The baseball field is 400 ft. to center, 360 ft. down the power alleys and 320 ft. down the lines.The softball field measures 210 ft. to all parts of the park.
 
Faber Field: Home field for the Briar Cliff soccer teams. Faber Field was created prior to the first season of men's soccer at Briar Cliff in 1991.
 
Guarneri Complex: The complex is named after Domenick Guarneri, who was instrumental in the development of a soccer program at Briar Cliff and also served as the program's first coach. The complex sits below the McCoy-Arnold Center on the BCU campus and serves as a practice site for Briar Cliff's football and soccer programs. The fields are also used for intramural competition.
 
McCoy-Arnold Center: A 13,000 square foot recreational facility which was dedicated on May 12, 2004. Construction began in May of 2003 and students began using the facility in January of 2004. The facility is named after campus chaplain Father Al McCoy and music professor Sister Mary Arnold Staudt, who were both longtime members of the Briar Cliff community. features a multi-purpose gymnasium, weight room, training room, lockerroom with showers, laundry room and storage room.
 
Newman Flanagan Center: Ground-breaking on the $2 million, 39,000 square-foot facility, which was named after Monsignor Newman Flanagan, took place, Sept. 23, 1981. The Newman Flanagan Center, which is 80 percent underground, was completed and opened in September of 1982. The actual dedication of the center took place on Dec. 15, 1982.  The center features two full-sized college basketball courts that can easily be converted into two regulation volleyball courts, a jogging track, a racquetball court, locker rooms, physical education classrooms, athletic and HPER department offices and a concession area. Aside from some needed repairs following the settlement of the building in 1994 and 1995, the building has remained nearly the same as when it was first created. The only structural changes made to the interior of the building were the addition of a training room facility, that was added during the summer of 1994 and the conversion of one racquetball court into a weight room in the summer of 1996. That weight room was later changed into a larger training facility in the fall of 2000.
 
Dakota Dunes Country Club:  The practice site for the BCU men's golf team.  The 18-hole championship course, which was designed by Arnold Palmer, encompases 7,165 yards of fairways and greens.  The country club is one of the sites for the Briar Cliff's Men's Golf Invite.  Click HERE to learn more about this breath-taking course and to take a virtual tour.  The Chargers also use Green Valley Golf Club as a practice and invite site.  The "Valley" is a par 72 championship course with a full 300+ yard driving range.  Click HERE to visit Green Valley's website.
