Call it the "Miracle at Memorial."  What a finish.  The BCU football team ended its 13-game losing skid with a last second 25-24 win over Hastings.  Luke Roder caught a 30-yard strike from Kyle Gerdes as time expired.      

The catch put an exclamation point on Roder's performance as he torched the Broncos with 14 catches for 248 yards and a pair of touchdowns.Chase Colvin also had a big day for the Chargers, hauling in eight catches for 117 yards and a score.  Kyle Gerdes just kept throwing darts.  He was 35-67 for 467 yards and three touchdowns.  He bounced back from throwing an interception with 2:08 left to guide the Chargers on a nine-play, 82-yard scoring drive which took only 59 seconds.  Then there was the BCU defense, which shutout the Broncos in the second half after allowing a combined 24 points in the first two quarters.  The Chargers limited the Broncos to 138 yards on the ground and 362 total yards.  Jarrod Makovicka registered 13 tackles, while Eric Bolin chipped in 10.  BCU's offense put up 534 total yards of offense.  The BCU ground game mustered only 59 yards on the day, led by Stavhn Leavy's nine carries for 43 yards.
