The BCU volleyball team went 2-0 on the first day of the Sioux Fall Invitational, in Sioux Falls, S.D.  The Chargers defeated South Dakota Tech, 3-1 (25-12, 16-25, 25-13, 25-20) and Dakota State, 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-23). 
In the first match against South Dakota Tech, junior Sarah Wieseler led the blue and gold with 15 kills and a pair of blocks.  Junior Liz Krog collected 20 digs, while senior Rikole Santin added 12 digs of her own.
 
Against Dakota State, Krog produced a team-high 17 digs, while junior Amber Skoglund had 10.  Senior Nicole Hoogeveen led the attack with eight kills.
 
With the victories, the Chargers improved their record on the season to 4-2.  The tournament will continue tomorrow.
