The BCU men's track team finished seventh at the GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the program's highest finish since joining the conference nine years ago. 
Sam Acheampong finished second to Dana's BJ Lawrence in the 100m dash after clocking a 10.54 in the finals.  Lawrence raced across the finish line in a time of 10.40.  Cecil Milton finished fifth in the same race after posting a tine of 10.83.  Both Acheampong and Milton earned all-conference honors in the event as the top eight finishers in each event are named all-GPAC.
 
Erik Lindsay was second in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.75.  Caleb Young also earned all-conference in the event, finishing fourth with a time of 15.67.  Clay Pagels cleared 6-07 in the high jump, finishing fifth.  Bryce Harshman was seventh in the triple jump with a best leap of 45-04.50. 
 
The Chargers' 4x100m relay team of Acheampong, Milton, Lindsay and Jon Smith finished second with a time of 41.90.  The 4x800m relay team (Luke Sachau, Thomas Hunt, Kelly Polacek, Bryce Kinard) finished fifth in 8:08.02.
