The Morningside Mustangs registered a 15-7 non-conference win over the Chargers at Lewis & Clark Park.  The nine inning contest ended in just seven innings.
The Chargers produced seven hits in the game, paced by Nick Rettke, who went 2-3 with a run and an RBI.  The Mustangs lit up five different Charger pitchers for 18 hits.  Javier Alvarez was 4-5 and scored four runs, while Jared Noteboom went 2-2 with a homer, five RBI and four runs. 
 
James Brouillette collected the win for the Mustangs as he came on in relief and threw 1.2 innings.  Justin Green pitched 1.2 innings for the Chargers and suffered the loss.
 
The Chargers are now 11-32 overall, while the Mustangs improved to 23-20.
