The Briar Cliff baseball team won a nine-inning slugfest at Wayne State, 20-14.  Offensive leaders for the Chargers were Andrew Benton and Jake Olivas.  Benton went 5-5 with a homerun and five RBI, while Olivas went 4-5 with a homer, three RBI and five runs.  Lincoln Dunham (3-6) also homered for the Chargers, who scored in all but one inning and outhit the Wildcats, 20-12.Briar Cliff improved to 11-27 on the season, while Wayne State dropped to 15-14.
