Michaela Carew shot a 42-38-80 and earned a share of fourth place at GPAC Qualifier No. 3, at River Wilds Golf Course, in Blair, Nebraska.  As a team, the Chargers finished sixth with a 360.
Danielle Bellet of Dakota Wesleyan earned medalist honors with a 37-37-74.  Dakota Wesleyan won the event with a 324, 14 strokes better than second place Sioux Falls.
 
Michelle Determan posted the Chargers' second-best score as she shot a 45-46-91 and finished with a share of 19th place.  Sydney Moran finished with a 50-44-94, while Brittany Walsh fired a 52-43-95.  Kristina Schiltz rounded out the Chargers' squad with a 54-48-102.
 
Bellet now leads the overall medalist race by 14 strokes with a 222. DWU's Kelli Baseley and Carew are now tied for second with 54 hole totals of 236. Dana's Sam Pinkel placed second today with a round of 78.  The overall GPAC standings are based on the individual and team performances at four qualifiers throughout the year, two in the fall and two in the spring.  Dakota Wesleyan is leading the team competition with a 955, while Briar Cliff is sixth with 1,058.  The fourth and final GPAC Women's Qualifier will be played on Thursday, May 6, at Two Rivers Golf Course, the home course of the Chargers.
