Brett McCarville and Nate Freed each shot a 77 to pace the Chargers at this year's Morningside Invitational, which was held at Whispering Creek Golf Club, in Sioux City.  As a team, the Chargers were fifth out of eight teams with a 314.
McCarville and Freed tied for 10th place.  McCarville shot a 38-39-77, while Freed scored a 41-36-77.  Bill Keane, the GPAC Men's Golfer of the Week, was two strokes back with a 36-43-79.  Tyler Gibbins carded a 38-43-81, while Jeff Demers finished with a 43-44-87.
 
Briar Cliff's second team finished seventh with a 337.  Nick Skinner led the unit with a 38-41-79.  Other BCU scores:  Adam Feed 42-39-81, Cody Skinner 39-47-86, Doug Loutsch 41-50-91, Austin Sitzmann 47-47-94, Adam Young 41-41-82.
 
Dana won the invite with a 304, while Dordt had a 306.  Morningside was third with a 307.  Medalist honors went to Tom Thompson of Sioux Falls, who shot a 34-38-72.
