Sam Acheampong and Erik Lindsay picked up where they left off after running at indoor nationals and each won their respective races at the outdoor season-opening Trojan Invitational, hosted by Dakota State.  Acheampong rolled to the 100m title in a time of 10.87, while Lindsay cruised to the crown in the 110m hurdles in a time of 15.82.
The Chargers also won titles in the triple jump and the 4x100m relay.  Bryce Harshman recorded a leap of 44-04.50 and won the triple, setting a school record along the way, while the Chargers' relay team clocked a 42.68 on its way to a first place finish.

A pair of other school records were also set as Sean Bicknase cleared 11-06 in the pole vault and Clay Pagels jumped 6-03 in the high jump.  Both Bicknase and Pagels finished second in their event.

As a team, the Chargers produced 45 top 10 finishes at the meet.  The Chargers will be in action again, April 3, at the Wayne State Invite.
