The Briar Cliff baseball team defeated Dickinson State, 12-11, today, on day two of the NAIA Region III Tournament, in Mayville, N.D.  The Chargers trailed 5-1 before scoring 11 unanswered runs, including an eight-run seventh inning.  The Blue Hawks scored sixth runs late in the game to close the gap to one run.  Jake Olivas went 3-5 at the plate for Briar Cliff, registering three RBI.  The Chargers will now face GPAC rival Northwestern, at 1 p.m., Friday, in an elimination game.
