Josh Rogers won his opening match at the 2010 NAIA National Wrestling Championships, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The 133-pound Rogers defeated Elliot Martin of Lindenwood, 16-9.  He will now face Travis Evans of Grand View, who had a first round bye.
Meanwhile, Zack Mullins (149) and Sammy Johnson (165) lost their opening matches.  Mullins was pinned by Ashtin Primus of Notre Dame in 1:04.  He will now face Zachary Barkett of Cumberlands in a wrestleback match.  Johnson suffered a close 3-2 decision to California Baptist's Preston Brown.  Johnson will now face Campbellsville's James Linker in a wrestleback match. 
 
All three Chargers will take the mat again Friday.  The tournament is scheduled to run through Saturday.
