The third-seeded BCU women's basketball team whipped sixth-seeded Dordt, 80-48, in a GPAC quarterfinal game at the Newman Flanagan Center.   
Liz Grider led four Chargers in double figures with 23 points.  Kelsey Evans finished with 14, while Kylie Dilla added 11.  Morgan Brown finished with 10 points.  The Chargers shot 44.4 percent from the field, including 37.5 percent from three-point land.  The Chargers also outrebounded the Defenders, 40-36 and outscored them, 34-14 in the paint.
 
The Charger defense forced the Defenders into 31 turnovers and allowed them to shoot only 34.7 percent from the field.  The Defenders were 0-5 from beyond the arc.  Bre Schneidermann was the only Defender to reach double digits, finishing with 12 points.
 
With the win, the Chargers (25-6) advance to the GPAC semifinals.  They will play at 3 p.m., Saturday, at second-seeded Northwestern (25-4).  Dordt's season comes to a close with a record of 19-13.
