Oklahoma Baptist rolled to a home sweep of the Chargers of Briar Cliff.  The Bison won the first game, 15-5 in six innings and then won the nightcap, 14-0 in five. 

In the opener, the Bison outhit the Chargers, 14-8.  David Kowal was 2-3, tripling in the fifth inning to drive in three runs.  The Chargers scored all five runs in the fifth inning.  Garret Linhardt, who pitched 3.2 innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits, took the loss for BCU. 
 
An 11-run second inning by the Bison doomed the Chargers in game two.  The explosion came on the heels of a three run first inning by OBU.  The Chargers were outhit, 7-5.  Sabastian Gilmore threw 1.2 innings and allowed seven runs on three hits.  Gilmore was handed the loss.
 
With the sweep, the Bison improved to 9-1 on the season.  The Chargers, now 0-4, will play a nine-inning contest at Southern Nazarene, tomorrow.  That contest is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
