The Briar Cliff women cruised to a 98-67 victory over Midland Lutheran and earned the No. 3 seed for the GPAC Postseason Tournament, which begins Tuesday.  Liz Grider led four Chargers in double figures with 33 points. 
Kelsey Evans added a dozen points, while Morgan Brown and Samantha Pearson each added 11.  Pearson was perfect on the day, going 4-4 from the field and 3-3 from three-point land.  Kela Cihak chipped in eight, while Megan Salcedo had six.  Kylie Dilla tossed in five, while Christa Stewart and Michelle Determan each had four.  Determan led the Chargers on the glass with eight caroms.  Likeisha Dotson pulled down seven boards to go along with her two points.  Britney Below rounded out the Chargers' scorers, finishing with two points.
 
The Chargers shot 49.4 percent from the field and an impressive 48.3 percent from downtown.  They outrebounded the Warriors, 47-33.  Briar Cliff also forced Midland Lutheran into 21 turnovers.  The Warriors shot 40.6 percent overall, including 23.1 percent from downtown (6-26).
 
Midland Lutheran was led by Kelli Hermsmeyer who produced team-highs of 22 points and seven rebounds.  Megan Torkelson added 17 points, while Kerry Butzke chipped in 16. 
 
The Warriors dropped to 8-22 overall and 3-15 in league play.  As the No. 3 seed, the Chargers will earn a first round bye and will then host the Midland Lutheran/Dordt winner, at 7 p.m., Thursday.
