The Briar Cliff baseball team was scheduled to open its 2010 season this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders at Friends University. Those contests, which were scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday,have been cancelled due to weather. The Chargers will now open their season, Feb. 21 at Bethany College on their way to Oklahoma for their spring trip.
