Monica Gattrell (10,000m) and Sarah Hummelgard (shot put) each finished fifth in their respective event at the 2008 GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Gattrell clocked a 40:39.45, while Hummelgard registered a toss of 12.18m.Gattrell, Hummelgard and Rosemary Bernth all earned all-conference honors for the Chargers.  Bernth finished seventh in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 12:20.36.  As a team, the Chargers tied for 10th with Midland Lutheran. (RESULTS)
