Sam Acheampong set new school records in the 55m (6.36) and 200m (22.44) at the Graphic Edge Open, hosted by Buena Vista University.  Acheampong won both events, edging Chargers in both races.  While he has already qualified for nationals in the 55m, his time in the 200m also provisionally qualified him for the event at the national meet. 
Meanwhile Erik Lindsay broke his own school record in the 55m hurdles, tying his time in the 60 m hurdles with a 7.64.  Lindsay was followed in the event by Caleb Young (8.22), Tony Consentino (8.26) and Cody Spreeman (8.31), who finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.  Lindsay finished second to Acheampong in the 200m with a 22.80, while Cecil Milton finished second to Acheampong in the 55m with a time of 6.76 and was also ninth in the open 200 (23.88).
 
Bryce Harshman was third in the long jump with a leap of 21-07.50, while Dave Thomas was sixth with a 20-05.75.  In the triple jump, Thomas was third (41-02.50), followed by Caleb Young, who was fourth (41-00.50). 
 
Brandon Henry was seventh in the 400m with a time of 53.15, while Luke Sachau was eighth in the 800m (2:03.26).  In the 3,000m, Bryce Kinard was ninth with clocking of 9:49.81.  The Chargers' distance medley group finished second with an 11:20.84, while the 4x400m relay team was fourth with a 3:31.60.
