The Briar Cliff women's basketball team dominated Nebraska Wesleyan, in an 84-36 route in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The NAIA No. 4 Chargers' tempo and pressure defense forced the Prairie Wolves into 37 turnovers.  The Chargers capitalized off those miscues, scoring 39 points off NWU's turnovers.   
Liz Grider led a pair of Chargers in double figures with 27 points.  Megan Salcedo finished with 11 points, scoring all of them in the first half.  Christa Stewart added eight points and a team-high nine rebounds off the bench.  Morgan Brown added seven points, while Kela Cihak and Kylie Dilla contributed six points apiece. Kendra Collins and Kelsey Evans each tossed in five, while Michelle Determan finished with four.  Dilla led the Chargers with four assists, while Brown had six steals.  The Chargers shot 53.2 percent from the field (including 33.3 percent from downtown), while holding the Prairie Wolves to 25.5 percent (including 13.3 percent from downtown).  The Chargers outscored the Prairie Wolves, 39-9 off turnovers and 32-10 in the paint. 
 
The Chargers shot 62.5 percent in the first half and jumped out to a 47-13 lead at the break.  The Prairie Wolves, who shot 15 percent for the half, did not score a field goal in the final 7:08 of the half.   
 
Mallory Shanahan led the Prairie Wolves with 11 points, while Hannah Marshall finished with seven.  Sadie Struebing led Nebraska Wesleyan on the glass with eight rebounds.
 
The Chargers, who have won a GPAC-best eight-straight, are now 21-3 overall and 10-2 in the GPAC.  Nebraska Wesleyan falls to 7-12 (4-8).  The Chargers, who are one game behind Hastings in the GPAC standings, will be in action again, Wednesday, at Dordt.
