No. 17 Dakota Wesleyan won its seventh-consecutive game, while handing No. 8 Briar Cliff its second-consecutive loss.  The Tigers scored 25 points off of 20 Charger turnovers to post a 77-58 victory at BCU's Newman Flanagan Center.  
It was another tough shooting night for the GPAC's top shooting team as the Chargers managed just 40.7 percent from the field, including 34.6 percent in the opening period.  The Chargers were 8-20 from downtown for 40.0 percent. 
 
Kyle Semprini and Matt Geelan led the Chargers with a dozen points apiece and were the only Chargers in double figures.  Mo Smeader added nine points for the Chargers, while Ben Sitzmann had seven and Kyle Swanson finished with six.  Chase Vander Feen, the squad's second-leading scorer, was 1-10 and finished with only two points.
 
The Tigers shot 45.8 percent from the field, including 57.6 percent in the second half as they blew the game open.  The shot well and took care of the ball, committing only five turnovers in the contest.  Darrin Dorsey led four Tigers in double figures with 22 points.  Brady Wiebe finished with an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double.  Dakota Wesleyan and Briar Cliff each pulled down 37 rebounds in the contest. 
 
With the loss, Briar Cliff stumbled to 17-5 overall and 8-3 in the GPAC.  The Chargers will travel to Nebraska Wesleyan, Saturday.  Dakota Wesleyan is now 18-5 overall and 10-2 in conference play.
