In the final meet of his Briar Cliff track career, senior Kevin Raspperry broke his own school record in the long jump with a leap of 6.72m at the 2008 GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Raspperry finished fourth in the event, setting a new school record and earning all-conference honors.
Freshman Zack Mullins also shined for the Chargers, improving his school record in the triple jump to 13.49m. Mullins finished eighth overall, earning all-conference accolades. The men's 4x800m also set a new school record and earned all-conference honors as the team of Luke Sachau, Kelly Polacek, Mikey Brauer and Aaron Witmer ran an 8:05.44, finishing sixth. The squad led for the majority of the race. As a team, the Chargers finished 11th. (RESULTS)
