The Chargers went 0-2 and were eliminated from the GPAC Postseason Softball Tournament.  The Chargers dropped their opener, 7-2, to Northwestern and were then edged by Hastings, 9-7.  The Chargers are now 19-21 and are hopeful that they will earn a wildcard spot into the NAIA Region III Tournament.In game one, Briar Cliff and Northwestern each spread seven hits around the yard.  The Chargers, however, left eight runners on base.  In their second game of the day, the Chargers registered 11 hits, two less than the host school.  The Chargers scored in all but two innings and led 7-5 going into the final stanza.  Then, the Broncos scored four runs on four hits, including a pair of homeruns.  Briar Cliff was led by Emily Dvorak and Jennifer Kruckenburg, who each went 3-3 with an RBI.  Dvorak scored three runs, while Kruckenburg scored once.  Camille Cruz pitched both games for BCU, collecting 14 total strikeouts.
