The Briar Cliff football team's 2010 schedule has been announced.  Times are still to be announced.  The Chargers will open the season, Sept. 4, as they host the Broncos of Hastings. Coach Tom Rethman then replaced the team's bye week with a Sept. 11 non-conference game at Waldorf.  The Chargers will then play at crosstown Morningside, Sept. 18 before hosting Dakota Wesleyan, Sept. 25.  In October, Briar Cliff will host Sioux Falls (Oct. 9) and Dana (Oct. 23).  They will play three road contests that month; at Dordt (Oct. 2), at Northwestern (Oct. 16) and at Concordia (Oct. 30).  The Chargers will then wrap up the season by hosting Midland Lutheran, Nov. 6 and playing at Doane, Nov. 13.  Briar Cliff is not scheduled to play Nebraska Wesleyan in 2010 or 2011.
