Briar Cliff head coach Mary Miller has announced that Erin Frank, of Sioux City, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Briar Cliff next fall.  Frank was a three-year starter for the Black Raiders of East High.  The setter finished her career with 1,803 assists.  She averaged 8.0 assists per game as a senior and set the school's single season assist record with 875. 
"We are excited to have someone of Erin's caliber join our program,: said Miller.  "She will make an immediate impact in our program and we look for great things from her."
 
Frank also totaled 569 digs, 136 ace serves, 102 kills and 36 blocks during her Black Raider career.  Her career serving percentage was an impressive 93.8 percent.  Frank also played two years of USA club volleyball, playing for Sioux City Elite and Cobra.  She was the setter on the first club team from Sioux City to qualify and compete at the USA Junior Olympics.
 
The daughter of Phil and Danelle Frank plans to major in secondary education at Briar Cliff.
