The Briar Cliff women's soccer team hit the road for a GPAC matchup at College of Saint Mary as the Chargers and Flames played to a 1-1 double overtime tie. The draw moved the Cliff to 7-5-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the GPAC, while Saint Mary is now 6-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the conference.

College of Saint Mary was able to get on the scoreboard first, scoring at the 31:08 mark in the first half when Cassie Dauber found Sara Kraenow for the goal to put the Flames up 1-0. The score would remain that way through halftime and partially into the second half until Gina Alvarez passed the ball to Darion Helle who buried it in the back of the net with 29 minutes left in regulation for the equalizer at 1-1. The two teams then held each other scoreless the rest of the half and through both overtimes for the 1-1 tie.

The game was tightly contested with the Chargers holding a 10-7 edge in shots and the Flames had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks. Libby Havenridge had two saves and one goal allowed at keeper for BC, compared to Kennedy Cascio making five saves and allowing one goal for CSM.

Makenna Taylor had a team-high three shots for the Cliff, trailed by Alvarez and Grace Hanno with two shots apiece and Nicole Edenfield, Helle and Taylor Beaulieu all attempted one shot.
