The Briar Cliff men's golf team sits 10th after day one of the 2017-18 GPAC Men's Golf Championship with a team score of 305. The two-day fall event is being played at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Andrew Huntington was the top Charger with a 74 on the day to be tied for 19th. The next four Chargers are all within four strokes of each other with Erik Ingenluijff firing a 76, Jarod Mau carded a 77, Raul Perez Ruiz turned in a 78 and Brandon Schwade rounded out the scoring for BC with a 79.

Doane is currently atop the team leaderboard with a 283 and Roger Sack leads the Tigers with a 69 to be third. Morningside and Northwestern are tied for second with team scores of 286.

Another 18 holes will be played tomorrow at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
