Kaylee Blake concluded the Chargers stay at the 2017 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this afternoon in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Going into the event, Blake was seeded ninth in the discus and needed to improve her rank by one spot to finish the season as an All-American. In the prelims of the discus, Blake threw for a new school record and personal-best mark of 47.04 meters. The distance of 47.04 held up in the finals and helped Blake finish as the runner-up. Blake capped her track and field career as an All-American with the second place finish.
