Playing at Green Valley Golf Club, his home course, Bill Keane fired a 37-33-70 and won medalist honors at the Briar Cliff Fall Invitational.  His three-under 33 on the back nine was the best mark of the day.  On the day, he finished with four birdies.  One of those birdies came on the par 4 No. 4 which ended up being the difference as he won in a tiebreaker over Northwestern's Luke Vermeer.  Keane also birdied both 17 and 18.
Brett McCarville and Gene Williams finished next for the Chargers, each finishing with a 77.  McCarville went 38-39, while Williams' card was reversed with a 39-38.  Tyler Gibbins rounded out the Chargers' A squad counters with a 39-39-78.  As a team, the Chargers' top squad tied for first with Northwestern as both teams shot 302.  BCU's second unit carded a 322.  Nate Freed led the second squad with a 40-35-75.  Other BCU scores:  Nick Skinner (39-40-79), Matt Neswick (40-39-79), Doug Loutsch (39-42-81), Andrew Pendleton (45-37-82), Matt Wanning (40-44-84), Matt Collins (38-47-85), Jeff Demers (44-42-86), Adam Freed (43-43-86), Bert Bucher (44-42-86).
