Trailing 24-7 at Hastings, freshman Damien Eichelberger found the endzone for the Chargers with 3:53 left in the game.  Hastings' responded with a 40-yard touchdown run by Maurice Mansfield with 2:54 remaining.  The Chargers refused to give up, scoring on a 9-yard reception by Luke Roder as time expired.  Junior Chase Colvin also had a touchdown reception for the Chargers, who were hit hard by injuries and miscues.  With the 31-20 loss to the Broncos, the Chargers fell to 1-2.   The Blue & Gold finished with six turnovers on the day.  Hastings, ranked 17th nationally by College Fanz, improved to 3-0 on the season.
