The Briar Cliff men's golf team opened its 2009 fall season with an eighth place finish at the Buena Vista Fall Invite, at Lake Creek Country Club, in Storm Lake, Iowa.  The Chargers fired a 324, 17 strokes off the lead.  Bill Keane paced the Blue & Gold, shooting a 79 and tying for 19th overall.  Briar Cliff's "B" team finished 12 with a 338.Other BCU scores:  Bert Bucher-80, Jeff Demers-80, Doug Loutsch-82, Gene Williams-83, Andrew Pendleton-85, Brett McCarville-85, Nate Freed-86, Nick Skinner-87, Lincoln Dunham-95.
