The Briar Cliff football team held its 2009 media day today at its nearby practice facility.  Following media day interviews and photo sessions, the squad of nearly 90 took to the field as it began its final week of preparations for this Saturday's season-opener against Grand View.  Game time for that contest is 1 p.m.  All of the Sioux City media outlets were in attendance, including 102.3 Jack FM, which will carry all of the Chargers' games this season.  The entire football slate will also be carried on the Charger Sports Network at www.bcuchargers.com.
