Facing the Dordt Defenders, who entered today's doubleheader with a 1-9 mark in conference play, the BCU Chargers were looking for a sweep.  The Chargers, who were 5-0 on the season at home, settled for the split, winning game one 7-5, but losing the nightcap, 6-4 in eight innings.  In the opener, the Chargers belted two homeruns in the first two innings, highlighted by Louis Beare's grand slam in the first.  The nightcap loss was the Chargers' first of the season at Bishop Mueller Field.
