A rough second half doomed the Chargers in a 76-59 loss to Indiana Southeast in the first round of the NAIA Div. II National Championship.  The Chargers took a 33-27 lead into the half.  In the second period, the Chargers were outscored, 49-26.

In that second half, the Chargers shot 25.9 percent from the floor, compared to 69.2 percent for the Grenadiers.  For the game, the Chargers shot 35.1 percent from the field and only 14.8 percent from three-point land.  The Grenadiers finished the game shooting 50.9 percent from the floor. 
 
Sophomore Kyle Semprini was the lone Charger to reach double digits in the scoring column, finishing with 17 points.  Sophomore Matt Geelan added nine points, while senior Derek Mechaelsen chipped in eight.  Geelan led the Chargers on the boards with six caroms.  The Chargers, who led the conference and set a school-record with 270 three-pointers, made only four baskets from downtown (4-27).  Semprini had three of the team's four triples.  The Chargers finished the season with 274 three-pointers.
 
With the loss, the Chargers' season came to a close with a 23-8 record.
