Briar Cliff freshman Jeremy Garvin was named first team all-Great Plains Athletic Conference after winning the 157-pound weight class at Saturday's GPAC Championship.  Garvin rolled through the competition, winning all three matches by pin.

On the season, Garvin's record stands at 21-5.  While Garvin was the Chargers' only first team selection, they also produced a trio of second team honorees.  Senior Julian Gunnels (133), sophomore Sam Vice (125) and freshman Sammy Johnson (165) all earned second team laurels.  Gunnels finished third at conference, after a runner-up finish in 2008.  Vice and Johnson each finished second at their respective weight class.
