Following a slow start, the BCU men's basketball team rallied for a 93-77 road victory over Clarke College.  Sophomore Chase Vander Feen scorched the Crusaders for 18 points in the first half and then finished with 22.  Vander Feen led five Chargers in double figures, knocking down four of the team's nine three-pointers.  With the victory, the Chargers improved to 4-0 on the season, while the Crusaders dropped to 0-3.   
 
Senior Brett Ratcliff finished with 18 points, while sophomore Kyle Semprini had 12.  Sophomores Drew Hanson and Matt Geelan chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively. 
 
Clark jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first 1:03 of the game.  The Chargers then rallied to tie it at 7-7, with 16:50 left in the half.  The Chargers then took the lead, giving it up only once for the remainder of the game. 
 
The Chargers shot a blistering 59.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three-point land.  Clark shot 44.6 percent overall and 20.8 percent from downtown.  The Chargers outrebounded the Crusaders, 38-23.
 
The Chargers will play at Ashford, at 3 p.m., tomorrow.  No broadcast of that contest will be available.  The Saints of Ashford are 2-2 overall and are coming off a 69-61 loss to Graceland this evening.
