Briar Cliff freshman Taylor Braunberger has qualified to compete at this year's NAIA National Cross Country Championships, Nov. 22, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  The 29th edition of the women's cross country national meet will take place at 10:30 a.m., at Kenosha's Dr. Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course.  Braunberger's season-best time of 19:18 at Saturday's GPAC Championships in Hastings, Neb., made her the first female in BCU history to qualify for nationals. This year's women's 5K race will feature 32 teams and 112 individual qualifiers.  Concordia and Doane's women's teams will be represented on the national stage, while Braunberger joins six other individual qualifiers from the GPAC.  Braunberger finished ninth at the GPAC meet and was one of only two freshmen to earn a spot on the all-conference team.
