The Briar Cliff men's basketball team drained 12 three-pointers in a 78-61 victory over Park at the Peru State Classic.  Leading the way for the Chargers were sophomores Kyle Semprini and Chase Vander Feen.  Semprini finished with four three-pointers and 18 points, while Vander Feen scored 17 points with five three-point baskets.  Senior Brett Ratcliff (13), senior Derek Mechaelsen (11) and freshman Morris Smeader (10) rounded out the team's double-figure scorers.  As a team, the Chargers shot 56.0 percent from the field.  An early second half run by the Chargers put the game out of reach after the Chargers led 40-36 at the break.
