The Briar Cliff men's basketball team continued its hot shooting as it defeated Peru State, 90-68, in their first game of this year's Peru State Classic.  Sophomore Chase Vander Feen led the Chargers in scoring for the second time in as many games as he scored 21 points, including five three-pointers.  Vander Feen led four Chargers in double figures as sophomore Kyle Semprini finished with 15 points and freshman Morris Smeader added 13.  Senior Derek Mechaelsen rounded out the Chargers double digit scorers with 10 points.  Matt Geelan led the Chargers on the boards with seven.  The 2-0 Chargers will face Park, tomorrow, at 5 p.m.
